From first call to final walkthrough
We believe a great remodel starts long before the first hammer swings. Here's how we work — step by step — to make sure your project runs smoothly, stays on budget, and delivers the results you're envisioning.
It all starts with a conversation. Reach out by phone or email and tell us about your project — what you're hoping to accomplish, what your space looks like now, and any ideas or inspiration you've been collecting. Photos, sketches, Pinterest boards — anything helps. For straightforward projects like a simple IKEA kitchen installation, this initial conversation is often enough for us to provide a preliminary estimate. For most projects, we'll want to schedule a visit to see the space in person.

Tim comes to your home to walk the space with you. This is where your project starts to take shape. We'll discuss your vision, review any designs you've been working on, and brainstorm ideas together. With decades of hands-on experience, Tim offers creative solutions, practical insight, and honest advice about what will work — and what won't. By the end of the visit, we'll have a clear picture of the full scope of work, and you'll receive a detailed estimate shortly after.

Once you've decided to move forward, we build out the plan. Together we'll determine the best start date based on our availability and yours — and factor in lead times for materials, because that perfect Italian tile or those handcrafted cabinets don't arrive overnight. You'll receive a detailed schedule breakdown — week by week — showing exactly what happens and when, along with a clear list of any materials you'll need to provide and their deadlines. No surprises, no guesswork.

This is where we dig in. Our rotating crews each bring their own specialties — tile, plumbing, electrical, carpentry — and all have worked with NW Homeworks for years. They're trusted, skilled, and take pride in their work. Tim is on site throughout, managing the project, providing expert oversight, and making sure we stay true to your vision. The first thing we do is protect your home — plastic barriers to contain dust, floor coverings to prevent damage, and a commitment to keeping a clean, organized workspace every day.

When the work is done, we don't just hand you the keys and disappear. Tim walks through the finished space with you one final time — checking every detail, answering any last questions, and making sure nothing was overlooked. This is the moment where it all comes together, and we want you to feel completely confident that your new space is exactly what you envisioned. Your project isn't finished until you say it is.
