The same carpenters, tile setters, electricians, and plumbers who build our kitchens and our award-winning bathrooms do this work too. That matters most below grade, where a basement conversion means running plumbing and dedicated circuits into a floor that never had them — and it shows up in the small rooms too, like a laundry room and mudroom where a couple of inches decide whether the space works.
